Introduction of Reusable Containers in Company Cafes

To spread sustainable consumption culture and reduce carbon, LG U+ introduced reusable containers in headquarters cafes from 2024, resulting in annual plastic reduction of approximately 7 tons and spreading eco-friendly practices in daily life.

Employee Carbon Neutrality Challenge

To help employees reduce carbon emissions in daily life and lead big changes through small practices, we are promoting a climate crisis response campaign with the Ministry of Environment and Korea Climate & Environment Network through 10 practices and the 'Climate Action 1.5°C' app.

10 Climate Action Practices for Carbon Neutrality Challenge

1

Take a photo after reading ESG letter for verification

2

Delete unnecessary emails (reduce electricity consumption for data server operation)

3

Find unused items to donate

4

Actively use eco-friendly transportation (public transport/bicycle/walking) for commuting

5

Turn off electricity when leaving work (heaters/lights/PC, etc.)

6

Don't leave food waste

7

Use stairs when moving between floors

8

Use tumblers and reusable cups

9

Use low-carbon certified agricultural products

10

Use shopping bags instead of disposable plastic bags
